In the following legacy DDR config, I have a few
questions.
First, the "no cdp enable".
Why has this command been put here? Will cdp
traffic, at layer 2, cause any problems with
ISDN?
Second, on the spids. I know it's optional to put
the LDN at the end of the spid. What are the
considerations here? I notice some configs have
the LDN and some don't.
Third, the ip ospf demand-circuit command. I have
recently been renting time on the fatkid.com
internet lab site. The information there
indicates that you will need this command on both
sides of the link, no matter what the various
books or documentation says. I went through one
of the fatkid.com lab scenarios, and put the
command on both ends of the link and it seemed to
work. Perhaps someone can enlighten me a little
more on this.
Thanks!
Eric
