Derek,
The key here is the escape sequence. The suspend session sequence is ctrl-^-x.
Note shift-6 is the ^ symbol ctrl-^ is the escape and x is the suspend. All yo
u
need to do is issue the escape sequence twice. In other words try ctrl-^
(ctrl-shift-6),ctrl-^(ctrl-shift-6), x and this should suspend you back to the
middle router. Changing the sequence works but is unnessacarry.
I have tested the following in my lab and it works fine.
Async Con Aux Con
RouterA (2509) --------->RouterB(2502)--------->RouterC(2501)
open reverse telnet to routerB, open reverse telnet to router C
ctrl-shift-6, x suspends to router A
ctrl-shift-6, ctrl-shift-6, x suspends to router B.
Good luck,
Steve
