Windows HyperTerminal is capable of transfering files via XMODEM protocol.

Go to CCO and search for XMODEM ... you will find a document explaining how
to load an IOS on a 3640 using xmodem.

    When I upgrade my 3640 router .So bad,I lost the ios.
I do not know how tho use xmodem to copy ios to router .
and where can I found the xmodem software.
