RE: Exam Leave ?

Some companies offer to provide money, time, and resources for CCIE Lab
studying. Which is great ...
However, I opted to pay my own bills and use my own time. I didnt want to
feel obligated to any company after I
became certified. After passing the test I felt free as a bird to tap into
the hot job market because I didnt owe my success to anybody but myself.
If a company sponsors your CCIE studying then you owe some of your success
to them. If you leave that company
after becoming certified you will risk ruining your reputation ... which is
a very important thing in your career.
Trust me, when you pass your lab exam you will get the bug to search the job
market and find a big raise.

My point is this: If a company is sponsoring your CCIE studies, thats
great, just make sure that this company will
reward your success competatively. Also, this company should also have the
work available to you to keep you challenged as a CCIE.

I like Paul work for TNS but in the UK, I am getting a 2 week prep course
plus as much weekday time as I can grab between accounts as long as it is
not revenue impacting. Like Paul said TNS UK are also looking so drop me a
line if interetsed and the same refferal conditions will apply!!

TNS is giving me the week before the lab, off to study. They also have a
humble lab with 5 2600, a 2900 and a 3900. We have a much more extensive
proof of concept lab for client solutions but TNS discourge the use of that
equipment for certification study. On top of that the cover all expenses
related to the cert (Travel, classes, books, lab fee etc.) and yes if your
looking
we are looking for folks like you 8^). Drop me a note if your looking, if
you get hired we will
split the refferal incentive! Later, Paul (dreading the 24th of March)
