hsrp and multicasting

I was looking for some thoughts on multicast routing
while using hsrp. If my active router on a vlan was
10.1.1.2 and my standby router on the same vlan was
10.1.1.3, the designated router for multicast traffic
would be 10.1.1.3 (based on ip), however this is not
the active router on the vlan ( based on the hsrp
configuration priority statement 10.1.1.2 is). How
would this effect multicast routing and it's
interaction with cgmp and port pruning for the vlan??

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Bill
