I just noticed an intersting thing.

Scenario

Area 0 --> md5 Autentication
Virtual Link Exists

This is my far router config

router ospf 1
 network 192.68.5.0 0.0.0.255 area 3
 network 172.16.1.0 0.0.0.255 area 33
 network 172.16.65.0 0.0.0.255 area 3
 network 172.16.10.0 0.0.0.255 area 3
 area 0 authentication message-digest
 area 3 virtual-link 193.1.1.1 message-digest-key 1 md5 test

Now the issue is, Route Table is fine but "IA" is removed
from the InterArea Routes ??? Is it really normal. Any clue??
I tried this config on an AS5200 11.2 old IOS.

Below is my Route Table, notice no IA routes at all !!!
