   hi all,

what about sharing experiences with the books related to
internetworking so that everyone (esp., new comers) can build a good
   collection of books!!

   my two cents are :

   WORST BOOK:
ccie study guide by roosevelt giles
(just a print out of RFCs, and IEEE papers, i'm sure no one can pass
ccie-written by reading it, basically i like those books in which
author has put down his own experiences with the
   equipment/technology!)

   BEST BOOK:
   Routing TCP/IP vol.I , by Jeff Doyle
(I really like his style of writing, this book, i consider, is a GIFT
to all the internetworking students, no typos, no techy mistakes, and
above all a lot of case studies that make ones understanding rock
solid, i'm anxiously waiting for the VOL.II !!)

I guess the best book is one which has a fair balance b/w practical
knowledge(real life stuff) without lacking in theoritical depth, just
   like Jeff Doyle's !!

   Bye
