I've received 3 emails from the list recently that automatically generated
outbound email (I'm running Outlook 98). From what I can tell these are
probably from someone who has 'message notification' turned on. Hopefully
that's all it is. Even that's bad enough as it appears to be generating
(most likely numerous) emails back towards nobody@groupstudy.com.
It's hard to tell from the headers where these emails started but it looks
like maybe a Simon.Baxter@citicorp.com (possibly from a root account on
another machine behind that). Anyway, can whoever is sending these emails
to the list please stop! I can understand if it's a misconfigured email
client (and I'm willing to help you fix that if need be) but if they
continue we'll have to assume they could be something worse (not sure what
at this point, just hate to see outbound stuff that I didn't generate).
