   A PC that is an ATM LEC has only an ATM interface, so the "LAN
   Emulation" is the emulation of a broadcast network (ethernet/token
   ring LAN) over ATM's non-broadcast-multi-access network type.
   
   Since you can't broadcast on ATM, without creating virtual circuits to
   all endpoints (kinda like frame relay), you need to emulate the
   broadcast function. The BUS (broadcast/unknown server) does just
   that. All LECs have a virtual connection to the BUS (which is located
   on the save device as the LES). So if you have a LAN broadcast that
   needs to go out, the LEC hands it to the BUS (broadcast server).
   Since all LEC's have a virtual circuit connection to the BUS, the BUS
   gives it to all LECs.
   
   Let's say that an ARP goes out and the reply has to go back to a MAC
   address that the LEC doesn't know about. The LEC hands it to the BUS
   (unknown server) and the frame goes to all LECs. Once the LEC that
   serves the MAC is found, a direct virtual circuit between the two LECs
   is created and the traffic stream is no longer handled by the BUS.
   
   So the ARP broadcast (and ALL MAC broadcasts, Layer2) are handled by
   the BUS.

   Actually I know that BUS is involved with, when resolving a MAC to its
   corresponding ATM address for an unknown LEC(client).But what about
   the IP ARP broadcast, will it be handled by BUS too??
   
   
   
   Q2. Can we use "schedular interval <msec>" command to lessen the
   burden on CPU, considering CPU is under heavy loads, e.g., handling
   too much debug traffic.Is there any other method we can reduce the
