I think you cannot see authentication on Virtual Link because you implement
authentication on Area 0 not on Area 3 whereas virtual link have been
implemented.

Authentication

                Hi All,

Thanks for all your responses, really appreciated. I tried
implement 'area 0
auth mess' under r1's ospf router configuration(as suggested
by all of you),
and everything seems to be working. However, when I do 'sh
ip os v' on r1
and r2, it says that 'no key is configured', any ideas?
Following are the
configurations for r1 and r2. Can someone tell me if the
configurations are
                correct?

                Thanks again.

I am taking the lab on 2/12 in San Jose, anyone is taking
the exam on the
                same date?
