Hello All,
Since this is my 1st post, let me introduce myself. I'm Raj and I'm
scheduled for my 1st attempt in 3 weeks in Raleigh.
Here's my problem:
I'm attempting a password recovery on a 3640, but I can't get the 3640 to
respond to my break sequence during boot-up.
The kicker is that I'm accessing the 3640 remotely. This 3640 has its
console port connected to the aux port of a term server which is a 2511.
I'm accessing the term server using a windows telnet session.
I can reboot the router (via remote-power-control unit) and watch it come
online but can't get it to recognize the break sequence. I've tried
ctrl-fn-break; ctrl-break; alt-b; ctrl-shift-6, then b; and a few others;
but nothing has worked so far.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is it even possible to issue a break sequence
given my scenario? (I think so.)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Raj
