Guys, thanks for all your congratulations!

Now I seem to have digged myself out of e-mail, here are some answers to
your questions, within NDA:

Can you recommend any good resources to use ?

Bruce Caslow's book is realy helping. Also, practice your fingers,
you otta do the things fast.

is this your first try?

No this was my second try. On my first one, I failed to get 30 points
    on Day One.

Quick question, did you have any ATM and or AGS stuff on the lab?

Forget AGS, there's not even a scent of it.
As for ATM, it was about 10 points, but quite easy if you know the
    subject.

are you from Russia?

Yeah. But I'm very unlike that drunk astronaut in Armageddon movie :)

Can you confirm or deny the rumor that some or all of your drawings are lifted
from you when you get to troubleshooting?

No I wasn't taken off any materials, the proctor even gave me the
Day1 materials. But you really should carefully make notes on your drawing,

including DLCI numbers, ISDN numbers, IPX encapsulation etc.
It really helps when you have the broken network well documented.

I was wondering if you can offer any advice on
matters such as where to stay in Brussels, which hotel, etc. How do I get to
the lab? Walking? Taxi?

Upon registration, Tamara Lovenaer, the exam coordinator, will send
you the list of hotels. The most convinient is Ibis Airport.
    It's 3-stars, near US$100 a day. It's in 15 minutes of walk
from the Cisco office. Also the shuttle buses go to and from the airport
every 30 minutes for free. And if you're a rich banana, there's
Holiday Inn hotell, 5-stars, even nearer to the Cisco office.

If you arrive to Brussels by train, just take the Airport Express train,
it goes every 20-30 minutes from Brussels Central or Nord or Zuid.

The taxi from Ibis to the airport goes for about BF530, it's near US$15.

If going from the Airport to the Cisco office, you'll have to take the taxi
.

How was the test ? Very difficult ?

Near a half of people failed to pass on Day 1, and near a half of the rest
didn't reach the troubleshooting. And the last was killing. I lost most
    of my points on TS.

I have a few months before the lab, and I am nervous now. I can't imagine what
I'm going to be like in May.

Don't worry too much, the exam is meant to be so: on your first try,
you get the knowledge of what it looks like, and on your second
you grab your scores. Most of CCIEs got the medal only after 2 tries.

Don't drink to much vodka :-)

    I prefer beer 8^)

So guys, do your best and be calm and sharp. And practice your fingers well.
Good luck in your next try.

Stan
