Brad,

In the message below you refer to issues with encryption over through GRE
tunnels, through NAT , and Point-to-Multipoint. Could you point me in the
right direction as to what those issues are and how to solve them.

I think you should know and understand how to configure encryption with:

* public/private keys (DSS/RSA)
* IPSec/ISAKMP

And, addressing the issues of encrytion with:

* GRE Tunnels
* Through NAT
* Point-to-Multipoint VPN

Ofcourse, I dont know what is going to be on the test. But if you
understand and can configure the topics above I think you should be able to
go into the test with confidence and not fear.

We cannot know everything about everything. But if we have a fundamental
understanding and familiarty with the topics and issues we should be in good
shape to find the information we need quickly to complete the configuration.
Almost everything I have learned about VPN has been in the last two weeks
and from CCO and the Doc CD. The information is there and its not too hard
to learn. Hey, I'll be the first to admit Im not the worlds brightest man.
If I can figure this stuff out, so can you. It just takes a little time and
patience to sit down and read the stuff.

One thing I have noticed is .... There is little to NO coverage of IPSec on
the Doc CD.
This makes me wonder if it will be on the test ... ?? I wonder if we should
focus our efforts more on public/private key encryption, which by the way,
has a fair amount of real-estate on the Doc CD. Just a thought ...

Good Luck everybody,

-Brad
