Hi,
When configuring ipx static SAP for file servers, do I use internal network
address or external network address? Here is what I got from "show ipx
servers" on my network. 99 is NetWare 3.12 server internal network address:
r1#sh ipx ser
Codes: S - Static, P - Periodic, E - EIGRP, N - NLSP, H - Holddown, + =
detail
U - Per-user static
1 Total IPX Servers
Table ordering is based on routing and server info
Type Name Net Address Port Route Hops
Itf
P 4 SUPERMAN 99.0000.0000.0001:0451 2/01 1
Et0
>From this output, I should use internal network address "ipx sap 4 SUPERMAN
99.0000.0000.0001 451 1", right? However, I see a lot of books(for example
Cisco press ACRC page 105) uses external network address: "ipx sap 4
FILESERVER 165.0000.0C01.3B16 451 1".
Which one is correct?
Thanks a lot.
