Think of a Dialer profile being much like a point-to-point subinterface.
In a Dialer Profile you only have one destination for all traffic, your
'dialer string'.
Therefore the router assumes that all traffic that needs to be sent out of
that interface (broadcast or unicast) must go the the destination configured
in 'dialer string'.
You dont need to tell the router to also send broadcasts to the same
destination.
A phsysical BRI interface is more like a point-to-multipoint interface.
There can be various destinations for any traffic. In this case the router
needs a little more guidance as to which destinations recieve broadcasts.
