Jared,

Not sure how you have your interfaces configured, but remember the behavior
of a bridge when attempting to learn a MAC address. It will broadcast out
all interfaces except where it originated. In a frame configuration this
can be a problem and you will have to force an alternate path using path
cost, spanning tree priority, or both.
