The ethernet interface is NEVER overwritten, only the serial interface.
Usually Router A is 000a.000a.000a or 0001.0001.000.1, Router B is
000b.000b.000b or 0002.0002.0002 and so on. For more reading on this
subject refer to Chapter 18 of the "CCIE Lab Study Guide".

P.S. Look at the tick count on ethernet it is 1 where as on your serial
it defaults to 6. Hope this helps, I am learning alot with you guys.
