Well, I am new in this mailing list, and I am going to the exam in January
(there is no available test date in Brasil till Jan). I am having some problems
in my lab... =\ ... Could anyone help me?!
I have two routers and an X25 link between them. I want to configure NLSP
as the routing protocol. The solution I had in mind was to configure
point-to-point subinterfaces. I have started ipx nlsp process in both routers
with:
# ipx router nlsp
# area-address 0 0
I have configured different internal network numbers to each router and
enabled the nlsp in the subint (with #ipx nlsp enable). I´ve also disabled
rip/sap process with subint command #ipx nlsp rip off and #ipx nlsp sap off.
The problem I have is that I don´t have ipx connectivity between then. I
cannot ping R1 from R2 and vice-versa... I´ve also checked my x25 mappings
statements, and I think they´re right...
The only strange msg I could detect is, for example in R1, when I start ip
x
packets´ debugging, I always receive from R2 a packet like this (where 22222 is
R2´s internal network number):
00:11:02: IPX: Se0/0.1:22222.0000.0000.0001->0.ffff.ffff.ffff ln= 66 tc=00 pt=0
0 ds=9001 ss=9001, rcvd
00:11:02: IPX: Se0/0.1:22222.0000.0000.0001->0.ffff.ffff.ffff ln= 66 tc=00 pt=0
0 ds=9001 ss=9001, bad pkt
If I configure RIP instead of NLSP, I have complete connectivity..
Does anyone have a solution/suggestion for this ¨%*&¨*??? eheheh..
Tks
