Hey Manjeet,
The distance command adjusts the Admin distance associated with a route
based on the
source of the advertisement.
So if you had
Router RIP
Distance 90 10.10.10.1 0.0.0.0
Distance 100 20.20.20.0 0.0.0.255
Any routes learned from 10.10.10.1 would appear in the route table with
an admin distance
of 90. Any routes learned from a 20.20.20.? router would get a 100
admin distance in the
route table.
