I agree with Derek 100%. Reading the question completely and carefully is an ab
soulute key in having a shot at passing.
Spend time up front is coming up with an addressing scheme for IP and if done w
ell will help for day 2 with other protocols.
Time management is key, but spending some time up front will make the rest of t
he lab go smother

Congradulations Derek you certainly helped me out as well as well as the many o
thers on this list to make it through on my second attempt.

Hi there,

Just a quick note of thanks to the group for helping me finally achieve my
CCIE (second attempt).

If I could give anybody who is about to take the exam on piece of advice -
it's READ THE QUESTIONS.

I thought I'd read them properly on my first attempt, but didn't really -
and I paid for it by only getting 73.

This time I read them THOROUGHLY, fully designed my IP infrastructure and
allocation (including drawing the map and creating a table of all interfaces
/ IP addresses), and it really helped.
