No. They are separate things. Actually, they mean separate things. TB
bridge number is merely to associate the ethernet interface with the
spanning tree protocol. The SRB bridge 1 is used for RIF purposes.

Subject: SR/TLB
When using SR/TLB, is there any relation between the bridge numbers ?
Let's look at an example:
source-bridge ring 4095
source-bridge transparent 4095 10 1 1
bridge 1 protocol ieee
interface ethernet 0
bridge-group 1
interface tokenring 0
source-bridge 1 1 4095
source-bridge spanning
So here we have a transparent bridge number of 1, and a srb bridge number of
1. Does this matter (other than to confise things)?
Does anybody have any recommendations about whether to try to keep them
different (and also the ring number for that matter) ?
