Does this "passive interface command" makes EIGRP not to run on that I/F or
not to advertise on that I/F? I mean with this command is the I/F will be
still in EIGRP I/F list or not?

Under the router eigrp configuration - use the command:
passive-interface serial 1
This will make sure it does not run on serial 1.

In terms of redistribution - make sure that you have some form of metric
specified. Otherwise more information is needed to work out why it is not
working for you.

Cheers
Alex.

In a lab setup, I have both EIGRP and OSPF running. Here is the basic setup

Int S0
ip add 192.63.65.6 255.255.255.252

Int S1
ip add 192.63.65.9 255.255.255.252

Router EIGRP 100
network 192.63.65.0
(every time I enter 192.63.65.4, it changes in the show run)

Router OSPF 100
network 192.63.65.8 0.0.0.3 area 0

When I try and redistribute the routes, the OSPF routes make it to the EIGRP
side no problem, but the EIGRP routes are not seen on the OSPF side. If I
look at the eigrp interfaces, or neighbors, they both show S1.

Any clue?
Thanks in advance, Howard
