Bill,
I think you may find that this works out better for you. I too had wanted
to take a prep class and the lab exam "back-to-back". After I passed the
written in late April, I wanted to schedule the lab as soon as I could,
which was mid-July. Because my vacation was scheduled for late June/early
July, I had to schedule the CCIE prep class from ARS in early June, several
weeks before my lab exam. What I found, though, was that the class
identified for me several areas in which I was weak. Because I had several
weeks until the lab, I was able to focus my study efforts during that time
on those areas. (The vacation kind of stalled the studying, but it still
worked out). Good Luck!
