I know that with mutual redistribution you have to prevent routing
loops.
1) When there are not multiple paths between the RIP and OSPF domains
(for example) , are routing loops a concern?
2) In this scenario I have several routers in the OSPF domain with
addresses in the range of 150.100.1.X-150.100.65.X. RIP routers are
150.100.130.X - 150.100.134.X.
Do I need distribute-list to prevent loops??
If so, what and where do I place the distribute-lists?
router ospf 1
redistribute rip subnets
passive-interface Ethernet0
passive-interface Serial1
network 150.100.1.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
!
router rip
redistribute ospf 1
passive-interface Serial0.1
network 150.100.0.0 (150.100.130.X to 150.100.134.X)
