Not entirely true. You can emulate SMDS with two routers back to back
over serial interfaces. Just ensure that one of them is clocking, and
turn keepalives off.
Sorry for the delay in submitting on this - I've just had 2 weeks away
after failing the lab for the first time before gearing up to go back in
the barrel again on 23rd August. Oh joy!
