I am trying to finalize my home lab config (lab scheduled for 8/24) and
according to the intel I have heard from others, the 3 families of switches
(at least recently) to be well versed in are the 1900, 3900, and 5000. I
have the 1900 and 5000 covered, but I was planning on relying on the docs
for the 3900 token switch.
I can get hold of a 2600 token switch (actually they have several) for less
than a grand. Does this have the same CLI as the 3900. Would it be worth
buying. If so, I may be able to get a better price if several people are
interested. Don't imagine I will have many practical uses for it. Opinions
welcome.
