AppleTalk EIGRP - Troubleshooting Duplicates

Here is an AppleTalk network I was playing with:

25T --- <TokenRing> --- 4kT --- <256k Serial> --- 4kE --- <Ethernet> --- 25E

25T - 2512 Token Ring
4kT - 4000-M Token Ring & Serial
4kE - 4700-M Ethernet & Serial
25E - 2514 Ethernet

The TokenRing segment is running RTMP only - Cable Range is 2-2, zone "two"
The Ethernet segment is running AppleTalk EIGRP only - Cable Range is 1-1,
zone "one"
The Serial link is connected via TCP/IP only. A GRE tunnel was created with
Cable Range 3-3, zone "three" AppleTalk EIGRP is running on 4kE and 4kT
Tunnel. There is no IP routing protocol. 4kT is redistributing RTMP &
Apple EIGRP.

The 25T interface (2.93) can ping the 25E interface (1.175). To simulate
something the CCIE Lab proctor might do, I entered config mode on the 4kT
router. I changed the 'appletalk routing eigrp 3' command to 'appletalk
routing eigrp 2'. This duplicated the EIGRP process ID of the 4kE router.
You get the following error on the console:

%AT-5-COMPATERR4: AppleTalk EIGRP neighbor incompatibility; 3.125 has same
router ID (2)

Here's some related ping & show command output:

25E#ping appletalk 2.93

Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte AppleTalk Echos to 2.93, timeout is 2 seconds:
RRRRR
Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)

4kT#show appletalk eigrp neighbors
AT/EIGRP Neighbors for process 1, router id 3

4kT#show appletalk neighbors
AppleTalk neighbors:
  2.93 TokenRing0, uptime 0:19:22, 2 secs
Neighbor is reachable as a RTMP peer
  3.125 Tunnel0, uptime 0:18:29, 107 secs
        NOTE: Neighbor is down.

4kT#clear appletalk neighbor all
%AT-6-NBRDELETED: Neighbor entry for 3.125 has been deleted
%AT-5-COMPATERR4: AppleTalk EIGRP neighbor incompatibility; 3.125 has same
router ID (2)

4kT#show appletalk neighbors
AppleTalk neighbors:
  2.93 TokenRing0, uptime 0:23:08, 8 secs
Neighbor is reachable as a RTMP peer

Notice that the output of the 4kT#show appletalk eigrp neighbors command
still says that the EIGRP process ID is 3! There are no EIGRP neighbors
however. If you clear the appletalk neighbors, then you will get the error
message that the Process ID is not unique. Now you know what to fix.

My question for the AppleTalk gurus, other than 'show running' is there some
way to see that the Process ID was set to 2 (the duplicate)? So far, the
only way I can tell that the ID changed was from the output of the clear
neighbors command.
