show frame-relay pvc
Identifies the PVC's status: USAGE = UNUSED means the router to switch LMI
is OK as you know, but the PVC is not carrying data.
show frame-relay map
Your PVC will no longer be in the dynamic map table. Not useful if you
statically map.
show cdp neighbor
If 'cdp enable' is on both ends & equipment is Cisco (obviously) you will
see layer 3 info of other end.

Subject: Frame Relay debugging issues
Hi all,
I'm doing some F/R work in my little lab at the moment, and am
looking for
some input.
I have one router configured as a FR switch, and 2 x 2503 routers
configured
up with point-to-point sub interfaces.
All is workinf fine, but I am trying to figure out how to do some
troubleshooting.
If I power off one of the 2503's, the DLCI on the other router goes
inactive, and the s0.1 subinterface goes down. This is exactly what
I would
expect, but I cannot figure out which debug commands I can use to
run traces
as this is happening.
If I debug the LMI, all looks fine, as I see S0 LMI info as opposed
to s0.1
info, and S0 onviously stays up. What sort of debugging commands
would I use
to see how the router establishes that the DLCI has gone inactive ?
Regards,
Derek...
