Hi,
I use rsh to allow me to get router information from a host system (not a
router).
For instance, from my OpenVMS system I can find out the isdn status, the
user logged on, or get the output from any commands as follows:
$ RSH/USER=rcmdusername routername command....
The router is setup as follows:
ip rcmd rsh-enable
ip rcmd remote-host rcmdusername nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn vmsusername enable
Note that this will only work if the RSH command is execute whilst logged in
as 'vmsusername' on host system 'nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn'
